owner and visionary
Brynn Rovito is the heart and soul behind the Vida Mia, bringing vibrant energy and vision to this iconic yacht as its first female owner. A former Capitol Hill attorney with a love for history and architecture, Brynn fell in love with the Vida Mia’s storied past and timeless elegance. Since acquiring the yacht in 2020, she has led its meticulous restoration, blending vintage charm with modern comforts. A proud member of the Classic Yacht Association, Brynn is dedicated to sharing the aloha spirit, ensuring every guest feels part of the Vida Mia’s rich legacy. From sunrise coffee cruises to private charters, her commitment to hospitality makes every voyage unforgettable.
Brynn is a graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst and loves surfing and yoga.
Captain Ricky
The Charismatic skipper
Captain Ricky, hails from Texas and is the spirited captain guiding the Vida Mia through Hawaii’s breathtaking waters. With extensive maritime expertise and a flair for fun, Ricky’s infectious enthusiasm creates an adventurous atmosphere. His deep knowledge of the Waikiki shoreline and knack for spotting whales and dolphins delight guests. Always armed with a warm welcome and quick joke, Captain Ricky’s dedication to safety and guest comfort turns first-time visitors into lifelong Vida Mia fans, making every cruise a memorable journey.
Captain Ricky is honing in on his woodworking skills and is a mechanic.
Bradford
the all-star deckhand
Bradford is the dynamic deckhand whose energy and attentiveness keep the Vida Mia’s cruises seamless. Known for his fun, welcoming vibe, he’s always ready to serve fresh local fruit or share tales of the yacht’s history. Bradford’s passion for the ocean and commitment to guest enjoyment shine in every interaction. His teamwork and ability to make everyone feel at home make him a vital part of the Vida Mia ohana, ensuring every moment on board is filled with warmth and aloha.
Bradford is a graduate of University of Tennesse and moved here from Califnoria.
Philip
the hospitality hero
Philip is the deckhand with a gift for hospitality, making every guest feel like royalty. His warm smile and attentive service elevate every cruise, whether the guests are sipping coffee at sunrise or celebrating a special occasion. Philip’s love for Hawaii’s culture and natural beauty adds a special touch, as he shares island insights with enthusiasm. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to excellence, Philip helps craft the joyful, seamless experiences that define Vida Mia.
Philip is an avid sailor, and moved here after a 37 day sailing voyage to the Mariana Islands.
Celeste
